The Special Olympics B.C. (SOBC) Winter Games organizing committee has paid thanks to Sun Peaks for hosting several events over the weekend of February 19 to 21. Alpine Classic raises $25,000

The TELUS Nancy Greene Alpine Classic was held in Sun Peaks on February 20 and 21, and featured 27 teams battling it out to raise around $25,000 for the Sun Peaks Health Association, the Sun Peaks Alpine Club and the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation. Racers representing the Sun Peaks Alpine Club (SPAC) caused quite a stir racing in Silver Star, dominating the competition at the 2015 U14 TECK Provincial Championships from February 26 to March 1.
