Families of young men killed in crash seek help

The families of Daniel Okocha and Feyisola (David) Adebowale who died in a horrific Nov. 3 car crash in Kamloops and Oluwatosin Adeojo (Kelvin) who passed away in hospital nine days after the incident are asking for help to pay for funeral and travel expenses.

The three men were employed at the Coast Sundance Lodge in Sun Peaks at the time of the crash.

Okocha’s family described him as a bright and talented person with a genuine soul and big heart. Their fundraiser can be found at here.

Adeojo’s family said he was due to graduate from Thompson Rivers University next month and that he had a great heart and soul. Their fundraiser can be found here.

A fourth occupant of the car was injured but survived. The alleged driver of the truck involved in the collision fled the scene but has been identified by Kamloops RCMP and Kamloops Serious Crimes Unit who are investigating the incident.
