Federal candidates stopping in Sun Peaks

As the federal election date draws closer, federal candidates from the Kamloops riding will be making their way up to Sun Peaks to spend time and discuss issues with the local electorate. 

Current Member of Parliament and Conservative Party candidate Cathy McLeod will be at Cahilty Creek on Friday, Oct. 4 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for a Meet & Greet event followed by a stop at the Heffley Creek Community Hall from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

An All Candidates Forum will be held at the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel & Conference Centre on Oct. 15 from 6  p.m. to 9 p.m. Those confirmed to be attending to date are Cathy McLeod of the Conservative Party, Cynthia Egli of the NDP, Iain Currie of the Green Party, Ken Finalyson of the Peoples’ Party of Canada and Terry Lake from the Liberal Party.
