Crankworx, the iconic mountain bike festival, is adjusting to the cancellation of their events around the world by launching the CLIF Crankworx Summer Series (CCSS), which includes a stop in Sun Peaks.

The series, which runs from July 27 to August 14, brings together 25 top mountain biking athletes to three destinations. Sun Peaks, SilverStar and Kicking Horse will host the riders who will each take on four races per stop, downhill, dual slalom, enduro and Air DH. Riders will vie for an overall series title.

The event will not have any spectators and any who gather will be asked to leave. Instead the races and results will be shared through live broadcasts, highlights, recaps and more on Pinkbike, Crankworx’ website and EDGEsport (available on TV and online).

CCSS will also feature Crankworx Connect, an online expo with live Q&As, giveaways, tech talks and more through their website, YouTube and Facebook Channels.

To ramp up engagement a fantasy league has been created for fans to follow along at home, build their dream roster and get the chance to win prizes.
