Last summer Tourism Kamloops launched Luv’n the Loops, a program that took guests to surprise destinations around the city each week in an effort to support and celebrate local businesses.

This summer, as the COVID-19 pandemic halted any plans to fill buses with people to adventure around town, Tourism Kamloops has pivoted to launch Luv’n the Loops 2.0, a digital passport which features tourism experiences throughout the city and offers discounts and incentives to those who take part.

Kamloops and area residents, including Sun Peaks residents, can register for the contest and use their account to track their entries as they explore participating attractions and experiences. Each passport location will have a QR code to scan to register your visit and log it to your digital passport. For every virtual stamp collected participants have a greater chance of winning one of four seasonal prizes or the grand prize.

Some of the participating businesses include Fun Factor Family Fun Centre, The Noble Pig, Cahilty Creek Kitchen + Taproom, Harper Mountain, Tastefull Excursions, DiVine Tours, Paddle Surfit and the BC Wildlife Park.

The program will run for one year, ending June 30 2021, players must register online to enter the prize pool.
