Four lively artists will be hosting workshops this month at the newly established Art Zone at Sun Peaks.
Vaughn Butland, an enthusiast for getting out there and painting in nature, will be facilitating an alpine watercolour workshop on July 15 and 16.
Two clay handbuilding sessions will be offered by Karen Palmer on July 21 and 22. The Saturday course is geared to kids aged six to 12, while the Sunday class is for anyone 12-years old and up.
Collage design is the next session on the calendar, with artist Marianna Abutalipova at the helm. Offered on July 28 and/or July 29, this session is all ages, but kids under six require the supervision of a parent or sibling.
August 11 and 12 have Kelowna artist Alex Fong offering a watercolour workshop where he will guide participants through various painting techniques and help them develop their personal painting styles.
All workshops begin in the Art Zone spaces of the Fireside Lodge.
