The annual fundraising and gala extravaganza, the Sun Peaks Firefighters’ Charity Gala, takes place on Saturday, November 17, and organizers continue to seek out and accept donations for the silent and live auctions.
“Every donation is appreciated, big or small!” says auction chair Melissa McKenzie.
Donations can be in the form of gift certificates, goods or services. Proceeds of the live and silent auctions will benefit the Sun Peaks Speed Skiing Club and the Sun Peaks Education Society, while proceeds from the gala’s ticket sales benefit the Sun Peaks Volunteer Firefighters’ Society.
