 | November 17, 2012

The Australian company X1 Projects has been recognized for their local development, the Kookaburra Lodge.

The company was awarded a High Commendation at the 2012 Australian Institute of Building (AIB) Professional Excellence in Building Award for Residential Development up to $10 million.

The AIB aims to promote excellence in building construction, while supporting high standards of education and ethics within the field. The Professional Excellence in Building Award recognizes high standards of building and construction management, research and development of diverse building projects.

“X1 Projects considers this to be just reward for the team’s one-eyed focus, commitment and toughness in the delivery of a beautiful but challenging building project,” states Paul Farrell, project director with X1 Projects. “Special congratulations go to construction manager Craig Petersen and foreman Tim Johnson for this achievement.”
