On April 20 BC Adaptive Snowsports (BCAS) announced a three year partnership with the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel.

The agreement will see BCAS host their annual summit and AGM at the hotel until 2022. The event, held each December, brings together course conductors, instructors and leaders from across the province.

“The leadership of Sun Peaks Resort and the Sun Peaks Grand have established themselves as true champions in providing access and opportunity for our adaptive snowsport community,” said Jeff Sauvé, executive director, BCAS. “We are proud to formalize our partnership, providing a consistent location for two key events for the next three years, and at a resort and hotel that has been an important partner in the growth and development of snowsports in British Columbia.”

Patrick Braspennning, general manager of the hotel, said they are happy to support BCAS and believe in their mission to provide everyone with the opportunity to participate in snowsports.
