Every year Sun Fun Tours hosts shopping shuttles and ski shuttles to and from Sun Peaks.
The shopping shuttle, which leaves from the Village Day Lodge (VDL) at 9:30 a.m., takes guests into Kamloops. Drop off locations vary, but include the city bus exchange on Lansdowne Street, the South Kamloops Superstore and Aberdeen Mall.
Pick-up in Kamloops is at 2 p.m. with an expected arrival at the VDL in Sun Peaks at 3:30 p.m. The shopping shuttle is $41 plus GST for Sun Peaks guests with a discounted rate for Sun Peaks employees. Tickets can be purchased at Guest Services.
The ski shuttle brings guests from Kamloops to Sun Peaks for a day on the mountain. Pick-up and drop-off locations in Kamloops range from Aberdeen Tim Hortons to the Halston Husky (Click here for all locations). Pick-up and drop-off times vary with each site. The shuttle is scheduled to arrive in Sun Peaks by 9:05 a.m. and departs the VDL at 4 p.m. Ticket pricing per person: $15 one way, $25 same day round trip, or $115 for a 5 trip value pass.
The shuttles will be running every Saturday and Sunday, December 7 to March 30 with additional dates Dec. 2, 17, 19, 24 & 30; Jan. 2 & 28; Feb. 21 and March 19.
