Community census on May 5 and 6

Sun Peaks residents are invited to participate in the census to be conducted on May 5 and 6 at the Delta Sun Peaks Resort lobby. The information gathered will be used for Sun Peaks’s Small Community Grant application. The deadline for the census is on May 6.

The census team from the Sun Peaks Improvement District will be at the Delta on Wednesday, May 5, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday, May 6, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Any resident who considers Sun Peaks a primary residence for at least six months of each calendar year must be counted in. Non-Canadians and children are included. A representative for each family or household can provide all the necessary information to the census team.

Anyone who is unable to make it on either day can also e-mail the information. The following information is needed:

– Contact information for confirmation including email and day time phone number
– Sun Peaks Address
– The number of people that live in the primary residence that are over 18 years old
– The number of people that live in the primary residence that are five to 18 years old
– The number of people that live in the primary residence that are under five years old
– Is the person filling out the census living in the primary address (YES/NO) or rental suit (YES/NO)?
– The number of people that live in the rental residence that are over 18 years old
– The number of people that live in the rental residence that are five to 18 years old
– The number of people that live in the rental residence that are under five years old
