Sun Peaks will join a billion people worldwide in commemorating Earth Hour on Saturday, March 26 from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
On that day, Sun Peaks Resort, the Coast Sundance Lodge, the Delta Sun Peaks, and Bottom’s Bar and Grill will be turning off all unnecessary lights to conserve electricity.
The Coast Sundance Lodge and the Delta Sun Peaks plan to inform their customers about Earth Hour and encourage them to participate. Snacks will also be provided at the respective hotel lobbies for anyone who would like to socialize during the hour. Food will be served by candlelight at Mantles Restaurant and Bottom’s Bar and Grill.
