At approximately 6:44 pm on the evening of December 10, 2010, two Kamloops RCMP members attended to a landlord/tenant dispute on Burfield Drive at Sun Peaks Resort.
While attempting to resolve this dispute, the 52 year old landlord was subsequently arrested without incident for mischief and later released from custody.
The landlord’s wife however, was arrested at the scene after threatening one of the investigating members with a knife.
The 55 year old female was taken into custody and was released by a Judicial Justice of the Peace for a future court date in Kamloops Provincial Court.
Possible charges against the female may include assault, uttering threats and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.
