The North Face is sponsoring The Block Party, the first rail jam of the season, on Saturday, Dec. 11 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will take place on the lower portion of the Rockstar Energy Terrain Park.
There are four divisions to compete in: Grom (12 and under), Junior (13 to 16), Women’s Open and Men’s Open. Each division is divided further into a ski and a snowboard category.
Registration is $10 for the Men’s Open and $5 for all other divisions. Participants can register at the Village Day Lodge between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. There will be a rider’s meeting at the base of the park at 3:30 p.m.
Participants can also earn points for competing in The Block Party, The Resurgence and The Garden rail jams. Winners will be awarded at The Garden, which is the final event of the series.
