A boil water advisory covering Heffley Creek since May 6 2017 was lifted yesterday, Sept. 17.
The 499 day advisory was placed after floods washed out a section of Old Highway 5 and ruptured a water main.
Residents were encouraged to boil water but constant testing showed no health risks or issues.
