Hit TV series airs shows filmed in Barriere

The TV series Mantracker will broadcast the first of two episodes shot in Barriere, B.C. on Monday, June 18 on the Outdoor Life Network.

The shows were filmed on Barriere’s trail systems with Kamloops’ hoodoos providing the opening backdrop for this season.

“Everyone asks if the chase is real,” says the Mantracker’s local sidekick Butch Falk. “I can tell you, yes, it is very real . . . I saw real fear in the eyes of the ‘prey’ more than once . . . . The new Mantracker, Chad Savage, is the real deal and has exceptional tracking skills.”

The trails featured in the show were developed through Job Creations Project, and Connie Falk, of Barriere Employment Services hopes that the exposure on the show will promote the trail system and market the area.
