Thank you to everyone that supported the Delta garage sale event held on June 5. To the staff and community members that provided donations for the event, to Shane M., Missy G. and Monique M. for volunteering their time for the barbecue side of things, to Melissa B. and Kate B. for spearheading the Garage Sale side, thank you. In a few short hours, on a wonderful sunny day, we were able to raise just under $800.
Although the sale is over, the kitchen team has offered to do a hot dog day in the village in the days to follow to continue this momentum. In addition, we are still getting a few calls to purchase other items so this may not be the final tally.
“We are one team, one community!” The monies raised will all go to local charities in the Kamloops area.
