Dear Editors,
Thank you for the lovely article on our Sun Peaks local, national champion. Our Northern Taekwon-do Club of Sun Peaks, has grown so much in the past couple of years and it is so wonderful to see all students do so well.
We are extremely grateful that our daughters and fellow classmates who attended the national tournament exceed. However, it wouldn’t be without the help, support and professional coaching of Mr. Ryan Oevermann and Mrs. Lori McLean each and every week.
Since having experienced many Taekwon-do tournaments in the past couple of years, I am pleased to say that our students are some of the most disciplined, well behaved and set the bar high for team spirit and camaraderie. Medals or no medals, I am happy that my daughters are exposed to such positive influence and role models, and are engaged in a fun and motivating lifestyle that I know they will have have forever. Thank you to the coaches, Mr. & Mrs. Oevermann and Mrs. Lori McLean. The students of our Sun Peaks martial arts school are so lucky to have each one of you.
