Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality is holding a Social Sustainability Focus Group on April 23rd at 3:30 p.m. at the Cahilty Lodge. If you are interested in participating please register by email at [email protected] or call (250) 578-2020. Only the first 18 people will be accepted.
The agenda will be as follows:
Focus Group Objectives
- To gather input from community members that will inform the Goals and SWOTs
- To deepen our understanding of and confirm/clarify what was heard through the public survey
- To clarify/confirm information contained in the draft SWOTs (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) being developed based on public survey results, online information and other reports
- Input gathered will be used to inform the refinement of the Goals and SWOTs for SP

- Intro to social sustainability plan for SP – scope, deliverables, social systems
- Questions and discussion
- What do you love about the social aspects of SP?
- What would you change?
- What opportunities and threats will influence SP in the years ahead?

- Final comments/ questions
