The lifts and Alpine trails at Sun Peaks may be officially closed but residents and guests are still able to Nordic ski.
The Sun Peaks Resort Corporation (SPRC) has confirmed that while the Nordic trails are officially closed — they’re unpatrolled and will not be regularly groomed or track set — the Nordic network is still accessible to the public.
People wishing to access the trails should take proper precautions because the trails may be in poor condition or unsafe. Emergency assistance is only available by calling 9-1-1.
