The Heffley Creek Community Recreation Association (HCCRA) is hosting a Show ‘n Shine and Pancake Brunch on Sunday, May 15 at the Heffley Creek Hall. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
NASCAR racer Jason White and CASCAR racer Bobby Mears will have their race cars on display in addition to several vintage cars at the event. Owners of vintage classic or hot rod cars are invited to put their vehicles on display at the event.
This event is the community’s way of saying thanks to the Kamloops Vintage Car Club for being their Adopt-A-Road sponsors. Every year, club members clean the road in front of the sawmill and the road from the highway leading to the Heffley Creek Elementary School.
For $5, attendees will get pancakes, sausages and coffee. One lucky person will win a custom flame painted, stocked beer fridge during the raffle draw.
