The preliminary design for the Sun Peaks community health facility is in its final stages according to the Sun Peaks municipality.
The municipality plans to hold public meetings to update the community on the plan and business model, but no date has been set. It hopes to begin works in the fall of 2013, subject to a successful referendum. The proposed location is next to the Sun Peaks Alpine Club.
