From, June 7 until Sept. 31, the Sun Peaks Men’s Golf Association will be hosting their annual Thursday evening SPIN Cup Men’s Night. Modelled after the famous PGA Fed-Ex Cup, points and prizes are awarded each week for skills tests, low net scores, low gross scores and participation.
The points leader at the end of the season will win a new set of irons from Nevada Bob’s Golf (Aberdeen).
Tee times are available each Thursday after 12 p.m. and awards dinners and prize ceremonies are held at various sponsoring restaurants throughout Sun Peaks Village each week. The entry fee is $10 with an optional $5 Skins Game. Green fees and cart rentals are not included. Players are encouraged to hand their scorecards into the Sun Peaks Pro Shop no later than 7:15 p.m. to be eligible for points and prizes.
