The sun’s shining, and the snow is melting. That means the garbage is surfacing too. The Delta Sun Peaks Resort is hosting two village clean-ups to tackle the detritus that’s been lurking beneath the snow all winter.
Come out an lend a hand on Wednesday, April 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and/or on Tuesday, April 16 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.
Volunteers should meet at the Delta Sun Peaks loading bay doors on the clean-up dates to pick up refuse bags and gloves. A barbecue lunch will be provided to volunteers after the work is done. Donations to Habitat for Humanity in exchange for lunch are appreciated.
