Instead of driving all the way down to the Heffley Post Office at the bottom of the hill to mail a letter, residents and tourists can now purchase stamps at the newly set up stamp shop at Hearthstone Lodge.
Local, US and international stamps can now be bought at the front desk of the Hearthstone Lodge. Regular stamps are $0.57, US stamps $1 and international stamps are $1.70.
Canada Post mailboxes are located on the corner of Sun Peaks Road and Burfield Drive, across from the Sun Peaks Fire Hall. A mailbox is also located in the village.
For mailing parcels and other post office services, visit the Heffley Creek Post Office located across the Heffley Store. For more information, call the post office at 250-578-8694.
