In an effort to raise much needed funds for the young and upcoming ski racers of the Thompson-Okanagan region, the Sun Peaks Alpine Club (SPAC) is holding its annual Ski Swap & Sale on Saturday, September 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Calvary Community Church on Rogers Way.
Admission is $2 and equipment drop-off is from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, September 28. Cost for selling equipment is $2 per item plus commission. Unsold items and monies from item sales can be picked up from 4 to 5 p.m. on September 29.
In addition to the annual ski swap the SPAC is also hosting their first Bavarian Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 13 at the Colombo Hall in Kamloops.
