Sun Peaks employee tests positive for COVID-19 after returning home

Sun Peaks Resort LLP (SPR) has confirmed an employee who has returned home to Australia has tested positive for COVID-19.

In a statement released March 27 SPR wrote they feel it’s important to share the details for community well being.

The employee, who will not be identified, was a Sports School instructor who lived in the Black Bear Lodge staff accommodation.

Their last day of work was March 16 and they left Sun Peaks to travel home on March 19. The positive test result came March 24.
