Men, dust off the clubs, June 6 marks the start of the Sun Peaks Men’s Golf Association’s weekly SPIN Cup Men’s Night at Sun Peaks.

Golfers can tee off after 12 p.m. every Thursday until September 26 and vie for gross and net score prizes, skill contests, draw prizes and SPIN Cup points. Entry fee is $10, not including green fees or power carts, with an optional $5 skins game.

Each week players will be awarded SPIN Cup points based on skill contests and point draws. The payoff? The points leader at the end of the season wins a new set of golf irons.

SPIN Cup Men’s Night is open to golfers of all skill levels with serious golfers being encouraged to get a handicap through the Golf Canada website. Score cards are to be turned in to the Sun Peaks Pro Shop no later than 7 p.m. each week and awards and dinner will follow at various Sun Peaks restaurants and bars. Format sheets are available from the Pro Shop at sign-up each Thursday.
