Tickets are now available for the annual celebration of hockey taking place in Sun Peaks and Kamloops from Feb. 3 to 6. The City of Kamloops is urging interested participants to get their tickets for the Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada events now to avoid missing out, which include some of the nation’s favourite hockey celebs.
Celebrity Luncheon – Feb. 4
11:30 am to 2:00 pm at the Tournament Capital Centre
With special guests Ron MacLean, Don Cherry, Trevor Linden, as well as numerous NHL Alumni™, the Stanley Cup and Memorial Cup.

WHL’s 50th Season Pro Am Game – Feb. 4
7:30 to 10:00 pm at Sandman Centre
Featuring teams made up of NHL and WHL alumni in a fun, family-oriented game, including such names as Lanny McDonald, Mark Recchi, Darcy Tucker, Wendel Clark, Mark Napier, Kirk McLean, and more to be announced as confirmed.
Tickets are $10 + tax, or $5 for children under 12, available through the Sandman Centre Box Office at 250-828-3339 or the Sahali Ticketmaster.
The Music of Hockey with host Ron MacLean – Feb. 5
7:30 to 10:00 pm at Sandman Centre
Musical guests include Dave Bidini & Bidini Band, Tom Wilson, Barney Bentall, Amelia Curran, Craig Northey, Bryan Trottier and Lindy Vopnfjord.
Tickets are $5 and are available at the Sandman Centre Box Office (cash or cheque only).
The opening ceremony is scheduled to take place in Sun Peaks on Feb. 3.
