TNRD library welcomes The Tarot Cafe Novel author

The TNRD Library System is hosting an Author Visit for teenagers and interested adults.

Local author Chandra Rooney will be visiting the North Kamloops Library on Wednesday, Oct. 20 at 7 p.m., and the Kamloops Library on Tuesday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m.

Chandra Rooney describes herself as a well-dressed dork who is old enough to have stopped worrying about being cool, but young enough to remember her high school years didn’t involve any musical numbers. She is also, through circumstances that still astound her, the author of TOKYOPOP’s The Tarot Cafe Novel: The Wild Hunt.

Join us for one or both of her visits to discuss her novel and how her blog helped her become a published author.

This program is free and is aimed at young adults, although everyone is welcome to attend.

For more information, contact Susan McCowan (250-372-5145) at the Kamloops Library. At the North Kamloops Library, ask for Andrea Finnen or Joelle Samson (250-554-1124).
