ArtZone Sun Peaks is switching things up to continue promoting art in the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The group of local artists of all kinds is hosting a virtual exhibition, The Bright Side, on their website from July 1 and running until Sept. 30. Submissions to show your work and have it promoted for sale are accepted until July 31.

It marks the first online exhibition for the group, who host events, workshops and exhibitions throughout the year.

“The Bright Side is exactly that, sharing some of the bright side with our community during these uncertain and changing times. Art can inspire us, move us, help us reflect, and connect us,” read their announcement of the event.

All types of crafts and art are accepted including paintings, photography, handcrafted jewelry, fibre arts, pottery and more. Exhibitors can choose to only show their work or show it and promote it for sale. ArtZone will take a 20 per cent commission of all sales.

The exhibition will be available to browse on their website,
