As another busy winter season wraps up, a spring cleanup in the village is in order before the Sun Peaks Music Festival starts on the last weekend of April.
Over 1,000 students and other guests are expected to attend the festival from April 23 to 26.
Resort employees and residents are urged to come by the Delta Sun Peaks on April 20 at 10:30 a.m. to help with the cleanup.
Volunteers should bring their own gloves, walking boots or runners. The Delta will provide garbage bags and will be in charge of disposing all collected garbage.
To reward everybody’s efforts, the Delta is hosting a Block Party hotdog and softdrink luncheon for volunteers. It will be located outside the Delta loading dock.
