As the adage goes, one person’s trash might be somebody else’s treasure.
Whitecroft is having a community yard sale on Sun., July 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The sale will be held at Cahilty Place and is open to everyone, including non-Whitecroft residents.
“It’s an opportunity for the village to hold a communal garage sale with somebody organizing it for them,” explained Avril Brock of the Whitecroft Community Association. She said the community has done a couple of garage sales in the past, and they’re doing it again this year because families have requested the association’s assistance in holding the event.
Anyone interested in selling items can simply turn up with their table and goods on the day of the event, said Brock.
“It should be a fun time.”
