B.C. Hydro has scheduled a power outage on Monday, April 27, to conduct work on equipment that will affect Sun Peaks, Heffley Creek and small portions of Kamloops, Knouff Lake and Louis Creek. The outage will run from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

“Over two thousand customers in the Sun Peaks and Heffley Creek areas rely on the distribution line that feeds the region. In order to ensure the safety of our crews and the public, power to our infrastructure needs to be turned off and this important work must be done in daylight. The outage will impact about 2,200 customers,” B.C. Hydro said in a statement.
