Update 5:33 p.m March 15: Friday Race Series timer Jim Alix confirmed Nakamura did not race in the Friday Race Series despite being a regular competitor.
Update 4:15 p.m. March 15: Kamloops Search and Rescue has confirmed they have not been mobilized for this missing person case.
A Sun Peaks Resort employee has been reported missing and Kamloops RCMP are requesting assistance in locating him.
Masaru Nakamura last had contact with a friend yesterday, March 14.
He is described as an asian male, 28 years old, 5’9” tall with a slim build and short black hair.
He was last seen wearing green pants a royal blue jacket and carrying a Mamut backpack.
