Sun Peaks recruits inspirational leaders for weekend retreat

 | August 29, 2012

Sun Peaks has recruited inspirational women to lead and rejuvenate guests this September. Women will gather for three days of relaxation, yoga, workshops and friendship during the first Women’s Wellness Weekend (September 14  to 16, 2012).

“This is a brand new event at Sun Peaks 100 per cent focused on women,” says Janice Nankivell, events manager at Tourism Sun Peaks.

Keynote speaker Isabelle Hamptonstone, MSc (Hons), AIP Certified NLP Practitioner for Sports and Business, will explain how to “Train Your Brain” to reconnect women with their most powerful selves. Workshops will focus on The Power of a Quiet Mind and What Your Personal Stories Can Teach You About Your Professional Life. All sessions are conducted by recognized and qualified women in their field.

“Between work, family and other commitments, women often forget to take care of themselves and that’s what this weekend is about,” says Nankivell. “What better place to refresh and relax than in an alpine setting surrounded by mountains and wildflowers?”

Woman can book a weekend package including the welcome reception, yoga sessions, evening dinner & keynote speaker presentation and choice from two different workshops starting at $126 per person or book segments of the weekend individually.
