A new yoga studio will soon be open in Sun Peaks. The Sanctuary is expected to open May 15 and will be located in the Fireside Lodge.
“The studio is intended to be a community wellness project that offers a mindful, healthy place to share energy and accommodate the needs of the growing population at Sun Peaks,” said co-owner Nikki Kirton.
Proposed classes will include Ashtanga yoga, belly dancing, Pilates, aerobics and mom and baby yoga classes. Drop-in fee is $12. E-mail Nikki at [email protected] for preferred schedule (daytime or evening) and type of classes.
