Avalanche risk remains HIGH in Sun Peaks

Please take notice of recent warnings from the Canadian Avalanche Association and others on the risks of backcountry travel this spring.

Sun Peaks Resort Corporation does not control or monitor the snow pack conditions outside of the ski area boundary. It is, in all respects, an uncontrolled area.

The Tod Mountain backcountry is relatively benign terrain in general however there are pockets of high hazard.

It is highly recommended all skiers and boarders stay within the ski area boundary.
