Municipality to host community session on short-term rental policy
Join the short-term rental policy session in person at Sun Peaks Centre or on Zoom Oct. 16.

Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality will host community members for a public engagement session focused on the municipality’s proposed Short-Term Nightly Rental Policy Oct. 16, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Sun Peaks Centre.
The session will focus on the policy changes, which aim to address local housing concerns and balance tourism with resident needs. Municipal staff will present recommendations and seek input from residents, property owners and business stakeholders before finalizing the policy.
For those unable to attend in person, the event will also be accessible via Zoom. Participants will have the chance to ask questions and share feedback directly.
Community members with questions are encouraged to contact Demetri Hofer, director of planning and community services, at planner@sunpeaksmunicipality.ca. Additional details are available on the municipality’s website.
