Tk’emlups Rural RCMP Detachment received a report of a theft from a unit at 5040 Valley Drive (Bridge Gate) in Sun Peaks on September 30.
The general contractor at the seasonal residence states he arrived at the residence in the morning and noted the previous evening his crew had left three TVs for installation the next day.
Stolen are two 60-inch and one 40-inch TV set all, new and still in shipping boxes.
The residence had no signs of forced entry and access is gained to the unit with pass code.
Police have been able to determine an older red and silver pickup truck pulled up to the residence at around 7:10 p.m. the previous evening and left with a large cardboard box laying across the entire bed (box) of the truck. Witnesses noted two males in black hoodies were putting something into the truck box. Policing are following up with leads and ask anyone being approached to purchase new TVs cheap to call the Rural Detachment or Crime Stoppers. 250-314-1800
