Catch your favourite tribute bands at Sun Peaks Resort during the Retro Rock Concert Weekend. In its second year, the event will be held Aug. 12 to 14 at the Village Square and will feature songs by AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top and The Tragically Hip. New this year is a Rolling Stones tribute band.
The live music performances are all free and will be spread out over the three days. The performances run from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday. On Saturday, the back-to-back performances will run from noon until 8:30 in the evening.
Featured tribute bands are BC/DC, Blaze of Glory, Led Zeppelin Show, Fandango ZZ, Hipeponymous and Steel Wheels.
