Residents in Kamloops and the surrounding area can ski or board Sun Peaks for only a toonie and a non-perishable food item on Monday, Dec. 7!
If you live in Kamloops, 100 Mile House, Merritt, Salmon Arm, Cache Creek, or anywhere within that boundary, you are eligible for Toonie Day on Monday.
Proceeds from Toonie Days will be split between the Sun Peaks Health Clinic and the Kamloops Food Bank. A valid form of identification is required.
Sun Fun Tours, through Canada West Coachlines, is once again shuttling guests from Kamloops up to Sun Peaks on weekends and will operate a bonus day on Toonie Day. Regular rates will apply ($25/round trip). Check out the website for all of the times and pick-up/drop-off locations!

“The weekend shuttle is a great way for skiers and boarders to get to Sun Peaks without having to rely on parents for a ride. It’s a safe and economical transportation alternative,” says Stacey Spencer with Canada West.
In addition to operating on Toonie Day, the Kamloops ski/ride bus will also run on Wednesday, Dec. 23, Fri., Jan. 1 and Wed., March 10.
