There’s a new coach at the top of the pile at the Sun Peaks Alpine Club. James Clarkson has taken over the club’s position of program director, formerly held by Johnny Crichton. Clarkson, originally from Thornbury, Ont., has been working with the Sun Peaks Racers since 2010 as head coach of the K1 race program.
