A new restaurant has recently opened in time for the beginning of summer at Sun Peaks.
Located in the Nancy Greene Cahilty Lodge, the Cahilty Creek Bar & Grill offers everything from appies and burgers, to salads and steaks.
And while everyone likes regular pub items, patrons can try Cahilty Creek’s own spin to these regular favourites. For example, Rooster Wings, the restaurant’s take on chicken wings, are available in flavours like Carribean Jerk or Satay.
But the best thing about the menu is the prices. Co-owner Kelly Dye said they’d like to offer the best value for their customers while still providing a delicious and innovative menu.
“We’re hoping to become a staple for Sun Peaks locals and visitors alike,” said Dye.
The restaurant also features Sun Peaks memorabilia from the old Tod Mountain days to the present—a treat for long time Sun Peaks visitors.
The restaurant is open daily from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
