The Sun Peaks Health Society will administer free flu shots for local residents in preparation for the coming flu season.
The clinic will be held in the conference room of the Hearthstone Lodge from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, November 16.
Barbara Brodie from the Health Society said she was looking forward to a strong turnout and a successful clinic. Brodie also offered some advice for flu season.
“Be considerate of those around you by washing your hands regularly and sneezing into your elbow,” she said.
The clinic is free and open to all. No appointment is necessary.
Brodie said those who were unsure about receiving a flu shot should consult their doctor or visit www.interiorhealth.ca
