What’s open to ski and ride on November 17

Sun Peaks Resort will be open for the winter season as of 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 17.

Alpine terrain open to the public will include: Cahilty and 5 Mile runs on the Sunburst and Elevation chairlifts. OSV is occupied by race teams in the mornings, but will be open to public daily after 1 p.m. On the Village Platter, Sunbeam and Gentle Giant runs will be open.

Alpine lift tickets will be 50 per cent off the rack rate at this time.

On the Nordic circuit, Vista, McGillivray Lake trail, Blue Grouse and Great Grey will be open. Access to the trails is via Vista trail and the Mt. Morrisey base.

Sun Peaks Resort reports that the runs are in good early season condition on machine made snow. The remaining lifts and runs will open as conditions allow.
