In response to Emma Whitman qualifying for the Dew Tour contest in Killington, Vt., a fundraiser is taking place on Thurs. Jan. 12 at Mackdaddy’s nightclub at Sun Peaks.
The event is raising travel funds for Whitman, who leaves for the Dew Tour event this Friday. Cover for the evening is $5, and 5forty will be giving away a jacket and pants, a value of $500, as a special prize to one of the attendees.
Whitman will be in Vermont from Jan. 13 to 23.
“I’m hoping that with success there an invitation to the x games will follow,” she says.
