Who Dunnit fundraiser for Art Zone

Who DunnitArt Zone Sun Peaks will hold an anonymous artwork fundraiser from March 7 to 14, featuring up to 60 works of art from a diverse range of artists.

Artists who’ve signed up for the Who Dunnit exhibition will each submit an unsigned artwork on an 8×8 inch canvas. Buyers will only discover the true identity of the artist on purchase. Each piece will be sold for $100, with the funds being shared evenly between the artist and Art Zone.

Event organizer, Liz Derksen, said she’d already received submissions from some very prominent Canadian artists including Peter Stuhlmann, Debbie Milner-Lively and Alex Fong.

“Picking up an original piece of art from any of these artists for $100 is a pretty good deal,” Derksen said.

Funds raised will assist Art Zone to hold workshops and open studios, purchase supplies, and to host some big name artists in Sun Peaks for summer workshops.
